GETTING AROUND
Driving
The speed limit on US 26/89/191 is 55mph; elsewhere it's generally 45mph. Watch for
wildlife at dusk, as well as cyclists crossing sections of the multiuse pathway on Teton Park
Rd. Gas stations are open year-round at Moose (24 hours, credit card only 8pm to 8am) and
Flagg Ranch Resort, and summers only at Colter Bay, Signal Mountain and Jackson Lodge.
Organized Tours
GTLC runs half-day tours of Grand Teton (adult/three to 11 years $5/18), full-day tours of
Yellowstone ($65/40) and a tour combining both parks ($90/50) daily from Jackson Lake
Lodge ( Click here ). Make arrangements at the hotel activities desk.
Gray Line ( 307-733-3135, 800-443-6133; www.graylinejh.com ) runs all-day tours
from Jackson to Grand Teton National Park ($80) or Yellowstone ($95), park entry not in-
cluded.
Flagg Ranch ( 800-443-2311; www.flaggranch.com ) calls its full-day tours of Teton
(adult/child $170/150) or Yellowstone ($190/170) 'wildlife safaris.' Entrance fee for the

Public Transportation
Alltrans Park Shuttle ( 800-443-6133, 307-733-3135; www.alltransparkshuttle.com ;
daily pass $12; 7am-7pm Jun-Sep) Operates several buses a day in summer between
Jackson, Moose, Jenny Lake Lodge, Signal Mountain Lodge, Jackson Lake Lodge and Col-
ter Bay. Riders can pay with cash or credit cards. Rides are unlimited on the daily pass. The
service is free for guests of GTLC properties. Call for airport shuttle service (one way from
Jackson is $16).
