Mormon Row
14 A favorite of photographers, this gravel strip of old homesteads and wind-thrashed
barns ( Click here ) backed by the Teton's jagged panorama lies just east of Hwy 191. Sure,
you could drive it, but the ultra-scenic and pancake-flat loop makes for one nice bike ride.
In the 1890s, early settlers were drawn to this landscape of lush sagebrush for homestead-
ing. The flats are also popular with bison and pronghorn, the latter have used this corridor
for seasonal migrations to the Yukon for over 6000 years.
