Offline map
( RV sites with/without electricity $37/28; mid-May-late Sep ) Along the north shore of
Yellowstone Lake, 1 mile east of Fishing Bridge Junction, this place only allows hard-
shelled RVs because of heavy bear activity. Rates are for up to four people and include
water and sewerage hookups; all sites are back-ins, with a 40ft maximum length. Reserva-
tions are essential in July and August. Public facilities here include a pay laundry and
showers. Stroll over to the nearby visitor center at 9pm or 9:30pm for a ranger talk.

Grant Village Campground $
Offline map
( sites $20; late May-late Sep ) Along the west shore of Yellowstone Lake, 22 miles
north of the South Entrance, this is the park's biggest campground. It's an enormous fores-
ted site that has a nearby boat launch, an RV dump station and three loops of tent-only

lakeshore strolls nearby. The campground only opens when bears have stopped fishing the
nearby spawning streams, which can be as late as June.
