SCENERY
The Yellowstone ecosystem doesn't end at the park gates. Surrounding the park is a net-
work of forested mountain ranges, alpine lakes and sublime valleys that offer some su-
perbly scenic approaches to the parks.
MUSEUMS
Not all of Yellowstone's marvels are natural. Don't miss the mind-boggling dinosaur
fossils at Bozeman's Museum of the Rockies or the fine collection of historical, ethnolo-
gical and ecological museums at Cody's Buffalo Bill Historical Center.
ACTIVITES
Hiking, white-water rafting, skiing, horse trekking, ziplining, snowmobiling, fly-fishing:
it's hard to think of an activity you can't do outside Yellowstone.
