In-Depth Information
often the base of the turret milling machine will be used as a soluble oil tank.
Sometimes the milling machine base will be a fabricated steel structure.
SO WHAT SHOULD I BUY?
If you have the room, a turret milling machine such as a Bridgeport or the
smaller Warco or Chester 626 type milling machine will be ideal. If you can
only afford, or indeed only need, a small milling machine, a dovetailed column
milling machine will be the way to go. If finances are tight, a secondhand
round column milling machine will do the job but may involve more setting up.
