Milling complete components
Sometimes a component is too small to hold in a vice or chuck to machine it.
In this case, take a larger piece of material and hold it in the chuck or vice.
Then you can machine the item complete all over and finally cut it off from the
parent bar.
Fig. 8.13. This block has been machined on both sides, the top and both angles all at
one setting. The slot will be machined next and the block will then be turned over for
the bottom face to be machined.
