SETTING THE VICE AT AN ANGLE
Put a protractor set to the required angle in the machine vice. Run a test indic-
ator along the angular protractor blade until the clock reads zero all the way
along and then clamp the vice down. The vice will now hold the work at the
right angle.

Sine bar
A sine bar is useful for clocking a vice on an angle. Simply put the sine bar
into the vice with the required parallel spacer between one end of the sine bar
and the vice jaw. You will probably have to put a bit of round bar in the vice
