schools and government offices (including post offices) are closed and public transporta-
tion follows a Sunday schedule. Plan ahead if you're traveling during many public holi-
days. Flights are full, highways are jammed and on Christmas and Thanksgiving, many
grocery stores and restaurants close for the day.
