One of the coolest comic-book publishers around, Fantagraphics is
based here in Georgetown, and it's worth making a pilgrimage if you have even a
passing interest. Don't miss the Damaged Room, with out-of-print and steeply discoun-
ted books. The store holds readings and events several times a month; check online for
a schedule.
There's also an exhibition space with new shows each month.
