vents the sale of Cuban coffee beans, you can at least enjoy your coffee Cuban-style (ie

Hill.

Competing with Starbucks for generous opening hours, Uptown
has been around since the early 1980s and is famous for the 'velvet foam' that embel-
lishes its lattes. The original and best cafe - there are now eight locations - is this
neighborhood nexus in Lower Queen Anne, an oasis of casual elegance.

The Mecca has
been called - by dudes who know - the best bar in Seattle. Half of the long, skinny
room is a diner, but all the fun happens on the other side, where decades worth of
scribbles on beer mats line the walls, the jukebox still works the way a jukebox should,
