This dramatic marriage of super-modern architecture and rock-and-roll
history was inaugurated as the Experience Music Project (EMP) in 2000.
Founded by Microsoft co-creator Paul Allen, it was inspired by the music
of Seattle-born guitar icon Jimi Hendrix.
