upon the skill of the workers, but tools and techniques used will affect both quality
and productivity of work. Crowbars used for extracting stones buried or settled in
soil, pans for transporting and collecting stones, and a chord for aligning the surfaces
in a line are important tools. No stones should be inserted as fillers after construction
of the wall. They serve no purpose since they do not bear any load, and are free to fall.
