Incredible breads and pizzas emanate from the wood-fired brick
oven. Other highlights include the famed rhubarb lemonade and moose burger with part-
ridgeberry ketchup. The young couple who own the restaurant grow many of their in-
gredients in the surrounding gardens. The goats roaming the grounds provide milk for
cheese, while the chickens lay the eggs. Reserve ahead.
The rustic restaurant, complete with ocean-view terrace, is about 15 minutes from
Bonavista via Rte 235 (turn left when you see the sign for Upper Amherst Cove). The
chef's dad carved all the beautiful wood decor in his workshop next door.
