North Rustico
Within a few minutes of arrival, it is pretty obvious that this is not simply a tourist town.
Rickety, boxy fishermen's houses painted in navies, brick reds and beiges, line a deep
harbor that is simply packed with fishing vessels. A walk east from the pier along the
boardwalk, and out to North Rustico Harbour, is a great way to take in the sights, sounds
and smells of this little village.
Activities
If your idea of ocean activity is reeling in a big one, look for the plethora of deep-sea
fishing operators (three to 3½ hour trip adult/child $45/35) along Harbourview Dr.

end of the harbor in a bright-yellow fishing shed, this company runs a 1½-hour introduct-

popular trip is the three-hour 'Harbour Passage' tour ($59), which operates two times
