land's main tourist office. It has all the answers, a plethora of brochures and maps, and

Getting There & Away
AIR
Charlottetown Airport (YYG; 902-566-7997; www.flypei.com ) is 8km north of the city
center at Brackley Point and Sherwood Rds. A taxi to/from town costs $12, plus $3.50
for each additional person.
CAR & MOTORCYCLE
With next to no public transportation available, rental cars are the preferred method for
most travelers going to/from Charlottetown. During the summer cars are in short supply,
so make sure you book ahead.
Nationwide companies such as Avis, Budget, National and Hertz have offices in town
and at the airport. Note that the airport desks are strictly for people with reservations.
