Key West lodging is generally pretty expensive - especially in the wintertime and even
more especially during special events, when room rates can triple. Book ahead, or you
may well end up joining the long traffic jam headed back to the mainland.
You can find chain motels in New Town, but you've got to stay in Old Town to truly
experience Key West. Visit the Key West Innkeepers Association ( www.keywestinns.com )
for more guesthouses; pretty much all are gay-friendly.
