Pigeon Key National Historic District ISLAND

$12/9/free; tours 10am, noon & 2pm) On the Marathon side of Seven Mile Bridge, this
tiny key served as a camp for the workers who toiled to build the Overseas Hwy in the
1930s. You can tour the historic structures or just sun and snorkel on the beach. Reach it
by ferry, included in admission, or walk or bike your way there on the Old Seven Mile
Bridge , which is closed to traffic but serves as the 'World's Longest Fishing Bridge.'
Sombrero Beach BEACH
(Sombrero Beach Rd, off MM 50 oceanside) This beautiful little white-sand beach has a play-
scape, shady picnic spots and big clean bathrooms.
Marathon Kayak KAYAKING
