Colonial Pancake House DINER$
(111 Central Ave; mains $6-10; 7am-3pm) A Hot Springs classic, with turquoise booths and
homey touches like quilts and doilies on the walls, it's almost like your grandma's kit-
chen. Except the pancakes, French toast (made with Texas toast) and malted or buck-
wheat waffles are better'n grandma's. Get yours with pecans inside. It does burgers and
other diner grub at lunch.
McClard's BARBECUE$$$

ter, Bill Clinton's favorite boyhood BBQ is still popular for ribs, slow-cooked beans,
