largest archival collection in presidential history, including 80 million pages of docu-
ments and two million photographs. Peruse the full-scale replica of the Oval Office, the
exhibits on all stages of Clinton's life or the gifts from visiting dignitaries. The entire
complex is built to environmentally friendly 'green' standards.
Old State House Museum MUSEUM

state capitol from 1836 to 1911 now holds restored legislative chambers and displays on
Arkansas history and culture.
Riverfront Park PARK
Just northwest of downtown, Riverfront Park rolls pleasantly along the Arkansas River
and both pedestrians and cyclists take advantage of this fantastic city park daily. You
can't miss the Big Dam Bridge ( www.bigdambridge.com ; ) , which connects 17 miles of
multiuse trails that form a complete loop thanks to the renovation of the recently re-
named, Clinton Presidential Park Bridge .
For a proper perusal of Riverfront Park, rent a bike (or tandem) from Fike's Bike (

& 3-8pm Sat & Sun) - outside opening hours you can call for a reservation. In the River

WORTH A TRIP
ARKANSAS DELTA
Roughly 120 miles east of Little Rock, and just 20 from Clarksdale, Hwy 49 crosses
the Mississippi River into the Arkansas Delta. Helena , a formerly prosperous, cur-
rently depressed mill town with a blues tradition (Sonny Boy Williamson made his
name here), awakens for its annual Arkansas Blues & Heritage Festival
( www.kingbiscuitfestival.com ; tickets $45; Oct) when blues musicians and their fans take
over downtown for three days in early October. Year-round, blues fans and history
buffs should visit the Delta Cultural Center ( 870-338-4350; www.deltaculturalcenter.com ;
141 Cherry St; 9am-5pm Tue-Sat) . The museum displays all manner of memor-
abilia such as Albert King's and Sister Rosetta Tharpe's guitars, and John Lee
Hooker's signed handkerchief.
