This retro diner has been restored with love
and infused with new Southern foodie ethos. Lunch is diner 2.0 fare with grilled redfish
sandwiches, tender burgers and grilled oyster po'boys, as well as an exceptional seared,
chili-crusted tuna salad, which comes with spiced calamari and seaweed.
Things get even more gourmet at dinner. Think lamb porterhouse, wood-grilled oc-
topus and miso-marinated seabass. There's an excellent wine list and service is impec-
cable.

It looks like just another downtown dive, but it's a damn fine seafood
house. Locals swear by the broiled redfish, and the Greek salad, which becomes a meal
when you add pan-seared scallops (sensational!). Everything is obscenely fresh.
