Sleeping
Staying in the historic downtown is the most attractive option, but it's also the most ex-
pensive, especially on weekends and in high season. The rates below are for high season
(spring and early summer). The chain hotels on the highways and near the airport offer
significantly lower rates. Hotel parking in central downtown is usually between $12 and
$20 a night; accommodations on the fringes of downtown often have free parking.
