Central Vermont
Nestled in the Green Mountains, central Vermont is classic small-town, big-countryside
New England. Its picturesque villages and venerable ski resorts have been luring travel-
ers for generations.
Woodstock & Quechee
The archetypal Vermont town, Woodstock has streets lined with graceful Federal- and
Georgian-style houses. The Ottauquechee River, spanned by a covered bridge, meanders
right through the heart of town. Quechee ( kwee -chee), 7 miles to the northeast, is famous
for its dramatic gorge, dubbed 'Vermont's Little Grand Canyon.'
