white-walled surroundings. Prices vary depending on size and toppings; the large mozza-

cheese curds and velouté). There's also pavement seating.

its peach-colored walls, Afro-Caribbean soundtrack and spirit-rousing cocktails, Soul de
Cuba is warm and inviting. Aside from the enormous and excellent-value Cuban sand-
wiches the menu is packed with sunshine flavors from fried chicken with Spanish olives,
to oxtail cooked in red wine.
Entertainment
New Haven has a first-rate theatre scene. The free weekly New Haven Advocate

Toad's Place MUSIC
