seafood lovers. Start with the lobster bisque, naturally sweet with chunks of fresh lobster.
From there it's safe to cast your net in any direction. Just 11 tables, and no reservations,
so think lunch or early dinner to avoid long waits.
Cobie's SEAFOOD$$$

son State Park, this roadside clam shack dishes out fried seafood that you can crunch and
munch at outdoor picnic tables.
Chatham
Upscale inns and tony shops are a hallmark of the Cape's most genteel town, but some of
Chatham's finest pleasures come free for the taking. Start your exploring on Main St,
with its old sea captains' houses and cool art galleries.
At Chatham Fish Pier (Shore Rd) watch fishermen unload their catch and spot seals
basking on nearby shoals. A mile south on Shore Rd is Lighthouse Beach , an endless
expanse of sea and sandbars that offers some of the finest beach strolling on Cape Cod.
The 7600-acre Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge ( www.fws.gov/northeast/monomoy )
covers two uninhabited islands thick with shorebirds; to see it up close take the 1½-hour
