menu. Forget plain vanilla. Step up to the counter and order a scoop of lobster ice
cream. Now there's one you won't find with the old 31-flavors folks.
Sights & Activities
Old Silver Beach BEACH
(off MA 28A; ) Deeply indented Falmouth has 70 miles of coastline, but none of it is
finer than this long, sandy stretch of beach. A rock jetty, sandbars and tidal pools provide
fun diversions for kids. Parking costs $20.
Shining Sea Bikeway CYCLING
( ) A bright star among the Cape's stellar bike trails, this 10.7-mile beaut runs along the
entire west coast of Falmouth, offering unspoiled views of salt ponds, marsh and sea-
scapes. Bike rentals are available at the north end of the trail.
