specialty at the Gourmet Dumpling House (or GDH, as it is fondly called). They are
Shanghai soup dumplings, of course, and they are fresh, doughy and delicious. The menu
offers plenty of other options, including scrumptious crispy scallion pancakes. Come
early or be prepared to wait.

This super-
hip Asian spot blends Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese cuisines, which means delicious
dumplings, spicy stir-fries and oodles of noodles. The kitchen staff does amazing things
with a wok and the menu of small plates allows you to sample a wide selection of dishes.
The vibe is casual but cool, international and independent.

Mobile station, it's now a retro burger joint, with picnic tables outside and a pool table
inside. The name of the place is a nod to
Pulp Fiction
, as is the poster of Samuel L Jack-
son on the wall. You won't find a half-pound of Kobe beef on your bun, but you will
have to agree 'That's a tasty burger.'
Aside from the burgers, this is a fun place to drink cheap beer and watch sports on TV.
