Getting There & Around
Badger Bus ( www.badgerbus.com ) uses Memorial Union as its pick-up/drop-off point for
trips to Milwaukee ($19, two hours), as does Megabus ( www.megabus.com/us ) for trips to
Chicago (four hours) and Minneapolis (4½ hours).

Taliesin & Southern Wisconsin
This part of Wisconsin has some of the prettiest landscapes in the state, particularly the
hilly southwest. Architecture fans can be unleashed at Taliesin, the Frank Lloyd Wright
ubersight, and Racine, where two of his other works stand. Dairies around here cut a lot
of cheese.
Racine
Racine is an unremarkable industrial town 30 miles south of Milwaukee, but it has two
key Frank Lloyd Wright sights, both of which offer tours that must be prebooked. The
first, the Johnson Wax Company Administration Building ( 262-260-2154;
