downtown's far west edge, about a half-mile walk from sausagey Old World 3rd St and a

Good places to scope for eats include Germanic Old World 3rd St downtown; hip, multi-
ethnic Brady St by its intersection with N Farwell Ave; and the gastropub-filled Third
Ward, anchored along N Milwaukee St south of I-94.
