lunteers rehabbed this old building, gathered up recycled materials and donations for the
patchwork furnishings, and opened it to the public in 2011. There's a 10-bed dorm, a
couple of smaller dorms and a handful of private rooms; everyone shares the four bath-
rooms and three kitchens. Bookings are taken online only (and must be done at least 24
hours in advance).
Bike rentals costs $10 per day. The hostel is located in Corktown on a desolate street,
but near several good bars and restaurants.

Forty guest rooms fill a row of Victorian mansions right by the art museum. Lower-
cost rooms are small but have deliciously soft bedding; the larger rooms feature plenty of
antique wood furnishings. The healthy hot breakfast and shuttle to downtown are nice
touches.
