sibling, with especially strong minimalist, surrealist and arts collections, and permanent
works by Franz Kline, René Magritte, Cindy Sherman and Andy Warhol.
Original Playboy Mansion BUILDING
(1340 N State Pkwy; Red Line to Clark/Division) Hugh Hefner began wearing his all-day
jammies here, when the rigors of magazine production and heavy partying prevented him
from getting dressed. The building contains condos now, but a visit still allows you to
boast that 'I've been to the Playboy Mansion.' Head east a block to Astor St and ogle
more manors between the 1300 and 1500 blocks.

(108 N Michigan Ave; Red Line to Chicago) The 154ft-tall turreted tower is a defining city
landmark: it was the sole downtown survivor of the 1871 Great Fire.
Lincoln Park & Old Town
Lincoln Park is Chicago's largest green space, an urban oasis spanning 1200 leafy acres
along the lakefront. 'Lincoln Park' is also the name of the abutting neighborhood. Both
are alive day and night with people jogging, walking dogs, pushing strollers and driving
in circles looking for a place to park.
Old Town rests at the southwest foot of Lincoln Park. The intersection of North Ave
and Wells St is the epicenter, with saucy restaurants, bars and the Second City improv
club fanning out from here.
Lincoln Park Zoo ZOO

lions, tigers and other exotic creatures in the shadow of downtown. Check out the Regen-
