Clipper Cards
Downtown Muni/BART stations issue the Clipper Card - a reloadable transit card with a $5
minimum valid for Muni, BART, Caltrain and Golden Gate Transit (not cable cars). Clipper cards automatically
deduct fares and apply transfers - only one Muni fare is deducted in a 90-minute period.
