HOUSEWARES
No local, artisanal SF restaurant tablescape is complete without handmade modern Heath
stoneware, thrown by local potters in Heath's Sausalito studio since 1948. Chef Alice
Waters has served her definitive California cuisine on Heath dishware for decades - hence
the popular Chez Panisse ceramics in earthy, food-friendly shades. Pieces are priced for
fine dining except studio seconds, sold on weekends.
