took place at the Indian Institute of Technology. The goal of the meeting was
to communicate the project objectives as well as the lessons learned from
the business study to the partners and give them opportunity to understand
them well. The meeting also gave partners the opportunity to discuss their
roles and responsibilities for addressing deliverables and reiterating the
requirements. Figure 13.6 illustrates the ICT system's architecture.
13.4.3 Communicating with the users
Once the prototypes were ready to be presented, the RTBP organized two
separate meetings with health care workers, in Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka,
who were assisting with the RTBP research.
13.4.3.1 Sri Lanka Health Worker Meeting
The meeting was held at the Medical Officer of Health office auditorium in the
town of Kuliyapitiya, Kurunegala District. The meeting was attended by the fol-
lowing: four Medical Officers of Health from Wariyapola, Kuliyapitiya, Pannala,
and Udubedewa, overseeing the four Medical Officers of Health divisions in
Kurunegala District, where the RTBP is being pilot-tested and 16 Suwadana
Volunteers from the same Medical Officer of Health divisions attached to 16
Suwadana Centers (i.e., Comprehensive Community Healthcare Program
Centers); fou r Sa r vodaya D iv i sion a l Co ord i n ators, super v i si ng t he s ele c ted RTBP
villages, and the Kurunegala District Coordinator; resource persons including
the Director Sarvodaya Shanthi Sena and Executive Director Sarvodaya from
