220. When you get to the bag check line at the park entrance, remember that
youcangothroughonbothsidesofthecounterforeachbagchecker.Also
remember that the bigger the bag the longer the bag check takes. I try to
get in a line with people that have purses rather than a bunch of backpacks
& strollers. This will save you a few minutes of waiting- you'll be doing
enough of that throughout your days in the parks.
221. No matter how hardcore you think your family is, be sure to plan some
'down time' throughout your vacation to rest and recuperate. You'll need
breaksfromstandinginlinesandnavigatingthroughthecrowds.Consider
adding an extra day to your park tickets to build in some R&R while still
being able to see all you want to see. Once you get past a three or four day
park pass each additional day is only a few dollars more. It beats trying
to cram everything in during a shorter trip only to end up completely ex-
hausted.
