In-Depth Information
84. If you want to get to Magic Kingdom in time for the park's opening show,
try to be in the parking lot 45 minutes before the scheduled opening time.
Even though Disney's transportation is very efficient, parking, taking the
tram, and then the monorail to get to the gate takes time. By the time you
park and ride the shuttle to the park entrance, you'll be among hundreds of
people in line. Use the time in line to apply sunscreen, and pick up a park
guide (if you haven't already) to plot your strategy.

85. When you get to the park (if you're driving) take a picture of the row &
section number of your parking spot with your cell phone or digital cam-
era. Magic Kingdom's parking lots (Heroes & Villains) are HUGE and
chances are you'll forget where you parked by the end of the day.
86. Do NOT write your parking spot on your hand in pen. By the end of the
day it will be washed off by sweat, washing your hands, or by one of Flor-
ida's tropical rain showers.
87. At Magic Kingdom, get your spot for the Electrical Parade down Main
Street U.S.A. early- especially if you have little ones. Crowds begin to
form an hour or more before the show, and if you want a front row seat
you'll need to get there early.
