4.2 Case 1.2
Case 1.2 is a case in which one does not do anything over a specific time while one is
in motion. Reason for judging this situation as lonely status is because situations, in
which one is in motion but does not do any one or more works, can be also considered
as lonely.
In case when the aged are moving around a room her and there, times they use or
contact each object will be all short or brief. This is considered as status, in which one
does not do some works specially or focus on something, and it will be considered as
lonely situation if this status continues longer than Threshold time.
As mentioned briefly in the above, we have used Time Constraint to make
judgment whether one did a certain thing or not. For example, in a case when
Duration time is less than 1 minute after detecting RFID tag attached to cleaner, it is
difficult to consider that they did cleaning using a cleaner. With this method, objects
with homes were assigned each different Time Constraint and using this Time
Constraint, we can categorize roughly whether users did some meaningful works or
no meaningful works.
When viewing Fig. 4, this concept can be understood more clearly. Each time
when RFID tag is detected, Duration shall be compared to Time Constraint of
detected object. If objects that cannot satisfy Time Constraint comes in continuously,
it will be considered that the aged are in lonely situation when added time of Duration
is larger than Threshold time after calculating addition of Duration of these objects.
