Fortified by my happy discovery of the day before, I swallowed my pride and took a
slightly easier alternative to the last serious summit. We had fun talking about dead horses,
Sarah's aunt and the music of Flanders and Swan, and George Formby. Chris opted for the
steeper route and once we were safely parted was regaled by the others as to how we two
had met, what was the story of our romance! I'm not sure if the others believed we had
formed a mutual attraction siding a house, but there it was!
I thought that a good lunch would put the spring back in my step and I would complete the
last long section along a disused railway without further problems. But my feet complained
all the way. And it was quite a way! The pain from my blisters, particularly the choice one
