Top Tips
Enter Wat Phra Kaew and the Grand Palace complex through the clearly marked third gate from the river pier.
Tickets are purchased inside the complex; anyone telling you it's closed is a gem tout or con artist.
At Wat Phra Kaew and the Grand Palace grounds, dress rules are strictly enforced. If you're flashing a bit too
much skin, expect to be shown into a dressing room and issued with a shirt or sarong (rental is free, but you must
provide a 200B deposit).
Admission for the complex includes entrance to Dusit Palace Park ( Click here ) .
Take a Break
There isn't much in the way of interesting eating or drinking in the immediate area. Your best bet is probably to
hop on the 3B river-crossing ferry at Tha Chang and grab a bite at Mangkud Cafe ( Click here ).
