Top Tips
Arrive at Chatuchak Weekend Market as early as possible, as the crowds are thinner and the temperatures are
slightly lower.
An information centre and several banks with ATMs and foreign-exchange booths are near the northern end of
the market's Soi 1, Soi 2 and Soi 3.
Take a Break
There are lots of places to eat in the market; two of our faves are Foon Talop (Section 26, Stall 319, Soi 8) , a
northeastern Thai-style restaurant, and Café Ice (Section 7, Stall 267, Soi 3) , for good pàt tai (fried noodles).
