MR Kukrit Pramoj House
MUSEUM
Former Thai prime minister Mom Ratchawong Kukrit Pramoj once lived in this beautiful
garden compound that today is open to visitors. European-educated but devoutly Thai,
MR Kukrit surrounded himself with the best of both worlds: five traditional teak build-
ings, Thai art, Western books and lots of heady conversations.

Oriental Spa
SPA
Regarded as among the premier spas in the world, the Oriental Spa also sets the standard
for Asian-style spa treatment. Depending on where you flew in from, the jet-lag massage
might be a good option, but all treatments require advance booking. The spa is located op-
posite the hotel, across the Mae Nam Chao Phraya, and is accessible via a hotel shuttle
boat.

centre is for a peek into two of Bangkok's better commercial art galleries. Tang Gallery
has a distinct emphasis on works by new and established Chinese artists, while Number 1
Gallery focuses on contemporary Thai art.
