fact table containing foreign keys from the Time
and Account tables and in addition, a table for
representing either the CustomerAccount fact
relationship (Figure 17a) or the CustomerAccount
non-strict hierarchy (Figure 17b). The Customer-
Account table will contain foreign keys from the
C ustomer and Account tables.
In order to define multivalued dimensions in
SSAS the same solution given for non-strict hier-
archies should be applied, i.e., defining many-to-
many relationships between the Transaction fact
table and the Customer dimension table using as
an intermediate table, the CustomerAccount table
as shown in Figure 18.
