All the above examples of automatic image data analysis demonstrate the es-
sence of UBIAS cognitive system operation, namely the correct understanding of
the analysed lesion using series of productions defined in the system and the se-
mantics of the analysed images.
Systems for the automatic analysis and interpretation of image data carry out a
process of understanding the analysed data using the semantic information con-
tained in them and defined in production sets of the formal grammar implemented
in the system. The introduction of semantic records in sets of productions makes it
possible to semantically analyse image data, whose interpretation and significance
is of the greatest importance in cases of progressive lesions.
