In-Depth Information
St-Michel square is known as the site of the Fontaine Saint-Michel and the starting point
of our walking tour
2. Boulevard St-Michel is the main street of the Latin Quarter heading south (away from
the River Seine). This is the major tourist walk, with all the souvenir shops and touristic
offerings that the tourist industry has to offer. For the more authentic lifestyle we must turn
into one of the side streets. There we will find the cafes, bars, creperies and bistros like
those pictured in movie sets in the old Paris 50 years ago.
3. Rue de la Huchette is a typical Latin Quarter street with many historical buildings. En-
joy the old Paris spirit with the lifestyle that Paris is famous for!
