The Cathedral of Notre Dame (means our lady) is probably the most stunning Gothic
cathedral in the world and for sure the most famous one. This Gothic jewel is located on
the river Seine in the 4

District of Paris. It is famous for its stunning architecture and is
incredible in its grandeur and its truly spectacular design. The construction started in 1163
but was not completed until 1345. Work continued afterwards and it incorporates a number
of architectural styles due to the input of different architects.
