The Louvre Museum hosts a large collection of Rubens' paintings
The Louvre museum is massive. There are around 35,000 works of art and 380,000 mu-
seum objects to see and explore. It easily takes you a whole day just to walk through all
the galleries. Many tourists feel that no trip to the Louvre is complete without seeing the
Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo, so you may want to make sure not to miss those two
masterpieces of art! Both normally have large crowds around them and you will almost
certainly need to queue to see them. You might actually prefer to spend your time in some
of the quieter galleries looking at other great masterpieces.
Some people might actually be a bit disappointed by the Mona Lisa. Its Magic Aura and
the reality do not really fit once you see the famous painting behind the massive protection
glass. It's way smaller than people imagine and due to the tight security measurements you
can't really get near it. However, have a look at the pictures below to judge on your own!
