This is among the finest hotels on
Heybeliada, one of the Princes'
Islands that lies in the Sea of
Marmara. It is housed in an
attractive, historic chateau-style
building made of wood and
painted in bright colours, which
should amuse your children no
end. It was originally built by a
school to house visiting parents.
Despite a turbulent past, when it
suffered a fire and subsequent
rebuilding in part to an authentic
style, it retains its reputation as a
popular holiday and business
centre. The hotel stands in gar-
