to determine elevation and course independently.
Note that bearing, distance, and speed are not generic; this data is de-
rived from GPS information since a GPS provides single point information
only! From the programmer's point of view, GPS basically adds a time
stamp to the GeoPoint and Position information and could be added to
their definitions in the source. On the other hand, both definitions of the
class and interface fulfill their purpose to localize something.
