Global Positioning System Reference
In-Depth Information
and classes developed chapter by chapter are constantly increasing, and,
therefore, the topic packages are delivered in one download archive.
After the exploration phase, which ends with Chapter 10, you may want
to remove the roaf.book packages as they are independent of the release
v1.0 of the actual roaf library and the roaf.roa sample application (see
below). Or you can choose to create two projects in your IDE to make sure
not to introduce any dependencies between them.
Note that the roaf.book packages are deprecated and therefore stable
for book studies. So please remember, if you consider contributions to the
ROAF, you should first study the roaf.book packages and play around with
them. Beginning with Chapter 11, the release candidate for roafv1.0 will
be introduced. This release will be published under version control.

Resources
All resources can be downloaded in one archive: book.rsrcs.zip
The resources will be the second download you will need and you should
download these files at the latest when you begin Section 4.4. They can
be downloaded from the \book resources" webpage. Note that this archive
has more than 90 MB. The overall folder structure and sizes are indicated
on page 228. The resources are subdivided into four main folders:

Like the roaf.book packages, the resources are also deprecated. Both
download archives will only be modified if major problems occur or if their
usage can be improved. Remember that the website should support devel-
opment beyond the topic and is open for your contributions. In the course
of the topic, you can develop your own version of the software and share
similar archives to the ones provided.
