Creating Map Tiles
As stated above, Kosmos is a command-line tool. Before automating ren-
dering, a graphic designer has to define the rules, and this can only be done
with a GUI front end. The following steps have to be executed to prepare
the rendering for the next RGB project:
1. Open a command line box, go to ../products/RGB/ and enter
createRGB
(a) the germany.clean.osm file has to reside in the deliveries folder;
(b) the subfolder osm has to exist and existing files will be over
written;
(c) make sure the last line ( %kosmos%... ) in createRGB.bat is com-
mented out;
