customers brought lawsuits that the company found difficult to battle. What was the
reason for this kind of fate for this software vendor? Lack of software testing! In fact,
this company did not have any budget for testing at all. So no testers were employed
and no testing team was in place. Developers tested their own code and that was it.
Not testing its product caused the company to pay a heavy price.
This was an extreme case. But even in normal circumstances, the importance
of software testing cannot be ignored. Software testing costs money, but not doing
software testing costs more!
